Work With Me

Embodiment is a puzzle each of us is gifted.

Living with a long-term illness, chronic pain, or disability can feel like a constant battle. The cycles of remission and relapse, the search for answers, the feeling of being ill at ease in your own body—it's a heavy load to carry alone.

But what if you could walk a gentler path, and change your relationship to the journey? What if you could find a space for deep rest, release, and renewal, right in the midst of it all?

I offer body-based care for people navigating chronic illness, burnout, and big life transitions. Through manual therapy, somatic education, and root-cause support, I help you return to ease, clarity, and vitality.

Email me to schedule a call, we’ll find out together if we’re a good fit.

Is This for You?

I work with individuals who are ready to explore their health journey with curiosity and self-compassion. We may be a good fit if:

  • You are navigating a long-term illness, with or without a formal diagnosis.

  • You live with a condition defined by cycles of remission and relapse.

  • You feel disconnected from your body and are seeking reconnection.

  • You've read my work on Substack and feel a sense of resonance.

  • You are looking for a collaborative partner to hold space for your experience, not an expert with all the answers.

How We Can Work Together

I offer two distinct avenues for our work, each tailored to your unique needs and location.

1. Somatic Companionship & Coaching (Online or in-person)

In these one-on-one sessions, we use dialogue and guided awareness to explore the wisdom of your body. This is for you if you're seeking to understand your body's signals and cultivate a deeper inner connection from anywhere in the world.

  • What it is: A collaborative conversation focused on compassionate listening, thoughtful questions, and somatic coaching.

  • Inspired by: Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing, which helps you listen to your body's "felt-sense"—the subtle, intuitive signals that hold insight into your emotions, patterns, and tensions.

  • The Goal: To foster clarity, self-awareness, and a greater sense of ease and vitality from within.

2. Hands-On Bodywork (In-Person)

For those who can meet in person, I offer sessions that blend therapeutic massage, gentle touch, and movement awareness to support your body's natural capacity for healing and alignment. Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended.

  • What it is: A blend of Tuina (a therapeutic form of Chinese massage), Craniosacral Therapy (CST), and principles of somatic movement.

  • The Process: Through gentle touch, mindful positioning, and supported movements, we encourage the release of deep-seated tension, allowing your nervous system to reset.

  • Techniques May Include: Soft Tissue and Fascia Release, Gentle Joint Mobilization, Acupressure, and Exploratory Somatic Practices. Two avenues to weave your story together.

Either online or in-person.

In one-on-one sessions, I offer a supportive environment for reconnection and personal discovery. Drawing on my training in somatic education, bodywork, and naturopathy, I help you find greater ease, alignment, and vitality through personalized, intuitive care. We focus on deep rest, release, and renewal.

Potential Outcomes of Our Work Together

While every journey is unique, clients often experience:

  • Profound relaxation and nervous system regulation.

  • Relief from chronic tension and physical discomfort.

  • A sense of emotional release and integration.

  • Greater awareness and a more intuitive connection to your body.

  • Steady, grounding support through life transitions or personal growth.

About Laure

My work is the integration of over a decade of training and professional practice, as well as 25 years with my own personal journey through illness and remission. I am a certified massage therapist and a member of the Quebec Association of Natural Therapists (AQTN), with foundational training in Tuina and Craniosacral Therapy from the Montreal Gongfu Research Center.

My approach is deeply informed by my ongoing study of systems like the Feldenkrais Method and somatic disciplines like Authentic Movement and Focusing. But most importantly, my practice is shaped by my own experience. I know what it's like to search for a path toward vitality. That journey taught me that meaningful change is rooted in self-awareness, patience, and compassion.

I don't claim to have all the answers. Instead, I offer a skilled, empathetic, and collaborative space for you to discover your own.

I recently got a beautiful testimonial from a regular client, that I am grateful to share here:

Through all my readings on health and autoimmune diseases, your book was recommended to me by an acquaintance. I so enjoyed reading it; your work is truly different from anything else I've read so far. It deeply touched me and piqued my curiosity about you. I wanted to know more and looked you up online, eventually learning that you offered healing treatments. I had long wanted to work with someone who also suffered from chronic illnesses, and finding you felt like a sign that it was the right time. It's hard to explain to someone without autoimmune diseases how one can feel and suffer at times, especially since these diseases are often invisible. I wanted to be treated by someone who could truly understand me, or at least had a greater capacity to do so. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the treatment itself before our meeting, but I arrived with a great deal of openness, and I haven't been disappointed!

I continue to see you because after each session with you, I feel so grounded and serene. I'm more attentive to the present moment, and I feel like your treatments equip me better daily to bring myself back to the present when I need to. Also, the way you're there for me during the massages is so precious; I feel completely at ease and know I can release everything with your support. You make me feel there's space for my emotions and actions, no matter what they are. I am so grateful for that. I'm certain all of this helps reduce stress and inflammation in my body.

I recommend you to my friends and family because I have complete confidence in your integrity, discretion, and respect for others. I know you have healing gifts, and above all, I know you have the ability to welcome people as they are, without judgment.
